Joyful, Gender-Neutral Fashion Designed to Last

Whistle & Flute started in 2012, when founders Miranda and Ryan welcomed their first child, Aki. As new parents with backgrounds in fashion and graphic design, they were frustrated by the lack of fun, stylish, and gender-neutral options for kids. The world was full of outdated, overly gendered designs—so they set out to create something different.

Inspired by Modern art and playful Kawaii style, Whistle & Flute was born: a brand that celebrates self-expression, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Today, Miranda and Ryan run Whistle & Flute from Victoria, BC, Canada, alongside their four kids. Their family values, love for creativity, and commitment to ethical fashion shape everything they do.
